He put two drives on the RAID 1, which means that readers are mirrored or redundant equipment. Downloading from an external FTP site is 100 times faster than downloading the same file from the server on the same network with the Ethernet cable is connected ... 2 Ethernet ports are connected to the NAS. no briefing be used even if all you hear every 30-60 seconds as slow flow. I may be a defective product. But my goodness! which means quality control sucks! To make matters worse, not the people for their technical support does not know to correct this. SEAGATE, please contact me if you find a solution and I'll get that statement. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Power performance and quality of Charles Churches I had to write a review after the passage of additional devices to my current BlackArmor NAS 420 and only see the negative reviews My experience was in contrast to those evaluations. I bought this product a year ago and it was a very wise purchase for me. Configuration through the operation of this unit has been a solid performer, and is easily accessible for the whole family. The store pictures, video and music on this device and network mapped drives of each machine on our home network. How do I know that it is easy to use? Nobody in my family NEVER complains about it is not available, have full access to all their files and I can restore any machine on our network, without worrying about losing all personal files. My current uptime is 88 days (only because I had to restart the device to reconfigure my network). The internal system of this unit is solid and the update procedure for its operating system is easy Seagate Great job! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great NAS! Great Product! J. Billiau I have this unit for about 2-3 weeks and I'm very happy about it. I have it connected to my Gigabyte LAN, configures them and had no problems. It is very fast when it opens. I have this NAS to my TV (Xtreamer) of electricity and has no problems. I've configured it for RAID 1, and so far so good. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a NAS device.
